11th September 2007Isobel Rutter takes up the batonWith Frances McCallum unfortunately unable to lead us at the forthcoming National Mod, Aberfeldy Gaelic Choir is delighted to report that Isobel Rutter will be stepping into the breach as conductor.Isobel brings a wealth of experience with her, both as a soloist and with Cumbernauld Gaelic Choir, to help guide Aberfeldy through its next Mod commitments: the Dhailriada Provincial Mod at Lochgilphead on 22nd September, and the Royal National Mod in Fort William in October.Isobel was surprised, but apparently delighted, to be asked to help us out. She hopes that, despite only having had a few weeks working with us, she can bring out the full potential of the choir. We are extremely grateful to Isobel for taking us on at short notice, and look forward to giving her the support and performance that befit her favour to us.
